Located in North Alabama, Marshall County is home to the state’s largest lake, Lake Guntersville, and modern sports amenities for playing on-and-off the water. The 69,000 acre body of water is home to some of the biggest wins in bass fishing. Lake Guntersville also lays claim to the fastest water in the South. In the 1950’s, top racers came to compete in the National Inboard and Outboard Championships. World records were set in the next decade that still remain today.
