2019 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops Offering Payouts and Prizes

Championship Week is almost here; anglers from all over the country will be heading to compete on Pickwick Lake in Florence, Alabama. The competition runs from May 23-24 at Pickwick Lake. This year, the Association of Collegiate Anglers will be awarding top finishing anglers with over $20,000 in cash and prizes based on their finish during the event as well as opportunities to earn far more than that thanks to the wide range of contingency programs being offered to the college anglers.  

In addition to the payouts and contingency prizes there will be over 20 companies on site this year providing a wide range of other products, prizes and meals during the Championship week festivities. Big Bass of the entire event will also win a Power-Pole!

Here's what the teams will be competing for during the tournament itself:

• 1st $5,000 cash
• 2nd $2,700 cash
• 3rd $1,700 cash
• 4th $1,200 cash
• 5th $950 cash
• 6th - 10th $300 Bass Pro Shops Gift Card
• 11th - 20th $250 Bass Pro Shops Gift Card
• 21st - 30th $200 Bass Pro Shops Gift Card
• 31st - 40th $150 Bass Pro Shops Gift Card
• Exact Finish Prizes: 50th & 60th Place will win a $200 Bass Pro Shops Gift Card
• Exact Finish Prizes: 70th, 80th, & 90th Place will win a $100 Bass Pro Shop Gift Card
• Exact Finish Prize: 100th Place will win an Engel Cooler + $100 Bass Pro Shops Gift Card each + 2 Revo Reels + 2 BUFF®

"We like to really have a lot of fun with this event, rewarding top finishers but also have a lot of prizes deep into the field. We also love the fact that so many companies come to this event providing samples, demonstrations and contingency programs for the college anglers who compete in what's the oldest-longest running national college championship level event," said Wade Middleton, Director of Association of Collegiate Anglers.

Not to be forgotten are all the contingency awards from the Association of Collegiate Anglers and its partners. Based off various requirements, anglers will be offered the chance to win the following contingencies:

• Up to $1,000 in Bass Pro Shops Gift Cards by wearing the ACA logo
• $18,000 in Team Bass Pro Shops Contingency prizes.
• Up to $2,000 to the highest finishing qualified Ranger Cup team and a spot in Ranger Cup University Fish Off
• Up to $1,000 from Yamaha Outboards by wearing the logo and running a Yamaha
• Two Revo Reels from Abu Garcia
• $1,000 through the Garmin Grand Giveaway
• $250 from G2 Gemini

With less than 10 days left until registration closes for the Championship event, anglers now have more incentives than ever before to make the trip down to Florence, Alabama. Registration will remain open until May 8th at 5:00pm. We hope to see you all there!
