The Barber Vintage Festival presented by Triumph Dealers of North America will take place this weekend, October 9-11 at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama. The weekend will include more on-site activities than ever before.

In addition to three full days of on- and off-track racing action provided by AHRMA (American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association), the America’s First Fan Zone will include activities such as:

  • More than 50 motorcycle dealers and merchandise vendors

  • Britten motorcycle display for a look inside the world of Britten

  • Triumph Motorcycles display

  • Official event merchandise

  • Bike shows & club gatherings

  • Stunt shows provided by American Wall of Death, Globe of Death and On The Edge Stunt Show

  • Variety of concession and food vendors

KTM motorcycle demo rides will take place throughout the weekend in Lot D and are new for 2015. These rides are open to the public and free of charge with an event ticket purchase.

“The growth that the America’s First Federal Credit Union Fan Zone has experienced at this event is incredible,” stated George Dennis, president of ZOOM Motorsports, the exclusive event promoter for the Barber Motorsports Park. “We are thrilled to officially announce the Fan Zone vendor space sell-out and whether you are a motorcycle enthusiast or not, this is an event that the whole family will most certainly enjoy.”

The full event schedule is also available online at www.barbermotorsports.com.

Daily tickets for the Barber Vintage Festival are available beginning at $25 or $60 for the three-day weekend.  All tickets include free paddock access and fans are encouraged to purchase in advance, as prices will increase the week of the event. Weekend parade laps are also available in limited quantities and kids 12 & under receive free general admission when accompanied by a ticketed adult. Additionally, free off-site parking will be available on Friday and Saturday with a complimentary shuttle ride to and from Barber Motorsports Park. Adding to the weekend activities, the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum will feature extended hours, special displays, technical seminars and events surrounding the life of John Britten such as An Evening with Britten, a fundraiser similar to the prior years Motorcycles by Moonlight event.

“After watching the Barber Vintage Festival grow into the fastest growing vintage festival in the world and one of the largest motorcycle swap meet in the country, we are excited to see what this year’s event has to offer,” stated Jeff Ray, executive director of the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum. “Throughout the three-day event we expect to feature many of the world’s oldest and most historic motorcycles, along with plenty of activities going on inside the world-famous Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum.”
