The Mobile Sports Authority has events ready to roll, starting in Mardi Gras season and extending well beyond.
Mobile Bay Intercollegiate Golf Tournament

The Mobile Bay Intercollegiate Golf Tournament is a season-opener for many of the top collegiate players in the country. Co-hosted by the University of South Alabama Men's Golf Team, this annual invitational is a 54-hole national golf tournament featuring college teams from several different major conferences across the country. Big 10, ACC, Atlantic 10, Big 12, MAC, American, Conference USA, and Sun Belt will compete in the 2022 tournament.
Practice play is Sunday, February 13. Tournament play begin Monday, February 14 (36 holes) at 8 AM and continues through Tuesday, February 15 (18 holes). It is open to the public, and admission is free.

USSA Black American Winter World Championship Tournament
West Mobile County Park/Medal of Honor Park
March 4 - 6, 2022
For the fourth time in Mobile, this adult slow-pitch softball event will serve as the world tournament for the Black American division of the United States Specialty
Sports Association. The double-elimination event will feature up to 80 men's and women's teams from across the country competing for a spot in the world championship.
Tournament fun begins the evening of March 4 at Medal of Honor Park, 1711 Hillcrest Rd., with a Home Run Derby and two All-Star games. Teams will be chosen at random to compete.
On March 5, teams will play at both West Mobile County and Medal of Honor Parks. National vendors, including Easton, will be onsite. Games will run from 8 AM until midnight on Saturday, March 5, and 7 AM - 6 PM on Sunday, March 6.
44th Annual Azalea Trail Run

For 43 years, the Azalea Trail Run (ATR) has attracted runners from across the world. The Azalea Trail Run is one of the nation's premier 10K road races. Both the 10K and 5K races are RRCA-sanctioned with USATF-certified courses. All races, including the 2K Fun Run/Walk, are flat, fast surfaces.
Wheelchairs: This is a 10K race only and is held in accordance to rules set by Wheelchairs U.S.A.
