The Indoor National Championship Tournament event will take place at the Hoover Met Complex in the city of Hoover, AL, just south of Birmingham. Over 700 players have registered to compete in a variety of age/skill brackets. Players will travel from over 35 different states and four countries for this championship, including as far away as Great Britain, Laos, Poland, and Zimbabwe. This five-day event, free and open to the public, features pickleball games in singles, doubles and mixed doubles, starts on Tuesday, June 7th and goes through Saturday, June 11th.

Hoover Met Complex will convert over 80,000 square feet of their state-of-the-art indoor facility, the Finley Center, into 28 pickleball courts. As part of the event, there will be pickleball equipment manufacturers on-site featuring the latest products designed to enhance performance for pickleball players. The 2022 USA Pickleball National Championships will be played at Indian Wells, California in November of 2022 and all gold medalists from each division of this event will receive a pre-registration spot to compete there.
