Mobile Has a Sizzling Sports Lineup for Spring

The Mobile Sports Authority has announced the following events:

2025 Mobile Challenge of Champions Track & Field

UMS-Wright Preparatory School/St. Paul's Episcopal School

April 4 - 5

The Mobile Challenge of Champions Track and Field Meet is one of the country's premier high school track and field meets and is a much-anticipated event every year. Approximately 1,000 athletes from across the US will come to Mobile to compete in this two-day meet. Designated as a Select High School Track and Field Meet by the National Scholastic Athletics Foundation, this annual event continues to attract the nation's top athletes.

The Open Division is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at UMS-Wright Preparatory School.

The Invitational Division is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at St. Paul's Episcopal School.

2025 Northern Gulf Lacrosse Alliance (NGLA) Tournament

Mobile County Sportsplex

April 20 - 21

Approximately 80 teams from south Alabama, Louisiana, and Florida will compete in the Northern Gulf Lacrosse Alliance Tournament. Both boys and girls from K-8th grade will participate in this much-anticipated tournament at the Mobile County Sportsplex the weekend of April 20 - 21.

2025 Serve It Up With Love Tennis Tournament

April 6 & April 8

The 19th Annual Serve It Up With Love Tennis Tournament is the largest USTA-sanctioned charity tennis tournament in Alabama. Men's, women's, and junior categories will be featured during this two-day tournament.

Tournament schedule:

Mixed Doubles - Sunday, April 6 at 5:00 pm

Al Fuchs Memorial Junior Championship - Sunday, April 6 at 2:00 pm

Women's - Tuesday, April 8 at 9:00 am and 6:00 pm

Men's - Tuesday, April 8 at 6:00 pm

Proceeds from this tournament will benefit the Mobile Child Advocacy Center. The mission of the Child Advocacy Center is to act as a community response to the problem of child abuse with the goal of providing a wide range of services in one central location for sexually and/or physically abused children and their non-offending family members to help facilitate their healing process.

2025 Southern Super Series Late Model Race

The Southern Super Late Series Model Race is one of 13 events featured at the Mobile International Speedway in 2025. This series is part of a major Late Model national sanctioning body. Other events at the Mobile International Speedway for 2025 include the Modified of Mayhem Southeastern touring series, Pro Late Models local and regional divisions, race car rides for kids, and fireworks! Don't let 2025 pass by without a trip to the Mobile International Speedway!

2025 AHSAA Sectionals Tennis Tournament

April 14 - 17

The Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) Sectionals Tennis Tournament will be held April 14 - 17 at the Mobile Tennis Center. Top finishers qualify for the AHSAA State Tournament at the Mobile Tennis Center the following week.

2025 AHSAA AL State Tennis Championship Tournament

April 21 - 25

Mobile to host the AHSAA Alabama State Tennis Championship Tournament! This Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) championship tournament will feature qualified schools from all over the state competing for their respective class state championships.

Event Schedule:

April 21-22: Class 1A-3A, 6A

April 24-25: Class 4A-5A, 7A

2025 USA Volleyball Gulf Coast Region Championship

April 25 - 27

This tournament marks the 28th year of the USA Volleyball Gulf Coast Regional Championship. More than 200 teams from coastal Mississippi, Alabama, and the Florida Panhandle will compete in this two-day regional championship to earn a bid to the USA Junior Volleyball National Championships.

Grassroots play is April 25 at the Mobile Convention Center and begins at 5:40 pm.

Gulf Coast Region Championship is April 26 - 27 at the Mobile Convention Center. Doors open daily at 7 am. Admission is $10 per day or $15 for a weekend pass for all spectators 12 & older (free for anyone 11 & under).

Parking is $10 per day at the Mobile Convention Center.

2025 US Fastpitch Association

Flower Power Girls' Softball Tournament

This US Fastpitch Association (USFA) is a first-time girls' regional softball tournament which will be held at the updated fields at West Mobile County Park.
