Babe Ruth 8U Southwest Regional Tournament
West Mobile County Park, July 8 – 11
Batter up! Teams from Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama will compete in the Babe Ruth 8U Southwest Regional Tournament in hopes of earning a spot at the World Series.
Admission is $10 per day; 10 and under are free.
Babe Ruth 6U World Series (T-Ball) Tournament

The best of the best in the 6U world of T-Ball! Teams must win district, state, and a regional to advance to this tournament. Come see why these kids are the best!

Mobile County Sportsplex, July 9
The Warrior Soccer Tour is coming to the Mobile County Sportplex! This inaugural 5v5 tournament is for ages 8 to adult with top teams qualifying for the 2022 Warrior Soccer Tour (WST) Nationals in Central Florida.
Battleship Rugby Luau 7's Tournament
Battleship Memorial Park, July 9
Teams from across the country will compete on five regulation fields in front of the famous World War II USS Alabama Battleship in this 7's style tournament.
There will be a social after the tournament with a Luau theme. Teams are encouraged to bring their best Luau apparel and celebrate a great day of rugby at one of the top attractions along the gulf coast.
Downtown Mobile Entertainment District (Lower Dauphin Street), July 16
Now in its 11th year, the Dauphin Street Vault continues to raise the bar for the sport of pole vaulting. Athletes of all ages and skill levels, including Olympians and professionals, will compete in this annual invitational event. It's an opportunity for athletes to compete in a fun environment while giving spectators a close-up view. Whether competing or coming down to watch, it's always a great atmosphere!
Major League Football (MLFB) Pre-Season Training Camp
Ladd-Peebles Stadium, July 9 - August 1
Major League Football (MLFB) is coming to Mobile! The new league will hold its inaugural Pre-Season Training Camp for all MLFB teams at Ladd-Peebles Stadium and the Archbishop Oscar Lipscomb Athletic Complex (the Lip) beginning July 9 and running through August 1. Each team will open camp with 70 players along with coaches and staff and will reduce to 50 players for their final roster.
MLFB will launch its first season in August with four teams, Ohio Force, Virginia Armada, Arkansas Attack, and Alabama Airborne. Each team will play a four game schedule in August allowing them to build towards a full season of Major League Football in the Spring of 2023.
