Triumph to Return to Superbike Challenge of Alabama

Weekend Event to Bring Thrills to Crowds, Riders

Triumph has announced its return as title sponsor of the AMA/FIMNA Superbike Challenge, to be held at beautiful Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Ala. on June 12-14. The fastest motorcycle riders in North America will compete during the Triumph Superbike Challenge, the fifth of nine rounds on the new and improved MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Racing Championship. Eight races are set to take place over the three-day weekend.

Triumph and its North American dealers have been partners of this race, ZOOM Motorsports and Barber Motorsports Park since 2012 making this the fourth consecutive year of involvement..

“This will be Triumph’s fourth year as title sponsor and we are excited to continue this partnership as they return again this year,” stated George Dennis, president of ZOOM Motorsports, the exclusive event promoter of the Barber Motorsports Park. “There is a lot of excitement surrounding our event and with the support that Triumph has given, we look forward to continuing to grow this event for many years to come.”

New this year, race fans will get to see Round 2 of the KTM RC 390 Cup, a new class open to riders age 14 through 22. Also, a larger field of competitors will be featured in the Superbike and Superstock 1000 classes.  It will be three full days of racing between the Bazzaz Superstock 600, KTM RC Cup, Supersport, and Superbike/Superstock 1000. 

Daily tickets are available starting at $10 or $55 for a two-day general admission package.  Paddock upgrades are available for daily tickets. Parade Laps, tent & motorhome camping, and RV spots are also available in limited quantities.
