The 2024 Life Time Sea Otter Classic presented by Continental, and the Sea Otter Classic Summit, are reporting more brands registered than ever before.
Billed as the ‘world’s premier cycling festival’, the Life Time Sea Otter Classic is a four-day celebration of cycling featuring over 1,000 brands, 6,000 athletes, 70,000 attendees and almost 6,500 campers. The 34th annual edition takes place on April 16-21, 2024, at the Laguna Seca Recreation Area, in Monterey, California.
Assembling industry stakeholders, the line-up includes: Sea Otter Classic Summit (April 16-17), Industry Day (April 18) and Expo (April 18-21).
Held on the evening of Tuesday, April 16 and all-day on Wednesday, April 17, Life Time’s Sea Otter Classic Summit has been created to encourage high-level industry connections. According to Life Tiem, 40% of the summit’s attendees are c-suite or director level, gathering one day ahead of Sea Otter Classic’s Industry Day to hear from speakers and network.
This year’s Sea Otter Summit boasts a line-up of cycling and outdoor leaders who will share their thoughts on emerging trends, market dynamics, and best practices. The speaker line-up and presentation themes will be announced shortly. From themed panel discussions to keynote presentations, attendees will gain insights to help inform strategic decision-making.
Following the Sea Otter Summit, Sea Otter Classic kicks off on Thursday, April 18 for Industry Day. In 2023, more than 1,000 brands engaged. New for 2024, the Industry Hub will offer an exclusive space inside the expo and provide attendees with a private location to host meetings and connect.
Kimo Seymour, President of Media and Events at Life Time, said “We’re committed to making the experiences for executives at 2024’s Sea Otter Classic Summit and all members of the cycling and outdoor business at Industry Day more productive and collaborative than ever before.
“The comprehensive program of speakers, panellists and networking opportunities at the summit, combined with all-new business-focussed facilities at the expo’s Industry Day, will provide unique opportunities for industry leaders to come together to collaborate, share insights, and shape the future of outdoor sports.”
