The Crush is back this Labor Day Weekend at Skatetown Ice Arena in Roseville. Not only is this the biggest curling bonspiel in California but it is also an international event that will bring several Olympic curlers to Placer Valley. 36 teams are scheduled to compete Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Don't miss the opening ceremony at 4 p.m. Friday where all the teams will parade out on the ice with bag pipes playing, guest speakers and more to make it a truly spectacular ceremony. Admission is free to all spectators and its chilly in the ice arena so don't forget your jacket.
