Life Time Group and the Sea Otter Classic have announced that a futurist, as well as e-mobility experts, and climate change leaders are among the group of speakers at the inaugural Sea Otter Classic Summit.
The new leadership gathering for executives in the outdoor, cycling, endurance and RV/overland markets takes place in Monterey, CA, on April 5-7, immediately prior to the consumer cycling festival, the 2022 Life Time Sea Otter Classic presented by Continental.
“The global economy and the outdoor recreation consumer’s expectations have shifted exponentially,” said Kimo Seymour, President of Media & Events at Life Time.
“We’re excited to launch a much-needed executive event, which brings together leaders from outdoor recreation industries who share both a common consumer and resource to inspire them in building responsible businesses through this challenging but very opportune time.”
Keynote speaker ‘futurist’ Chris Riddell will discuss… ‘the continually changing global economy and business landscape driven by ongoing consumer evolution, providing a forward view to executives looking to harness the disruption of the pandemic and drive next-level growth for their brands.’
Summit sessions include:
- Climate Change & Sustainable Business
- Web 3.0
- Industry Disruption
- E-mobility
- Inclusivity
‘The gathering will seek to inspire executive guests to take a leap forward in their businesses and to position their brands to be vehicles for positive change as today’s consumer expects proactive, ongoing action from their favourite brands with climate-change mitigation, inclusivity, environmental stewardship and accessing outdoor recreation.’
Brand responsibility will be addressed in tandem with how tomorrow’s most successful brands will anticipate consumer expectations such as speed, ease, choice and responsibility. Life Time added that… ‘Summit guests will leave Monterey with actionable strategies on how all four of these demands will affect their businesses and how they can modernize quickly to stay on pace with consumer evolution. In addition, attendees will grow their networks and learn from peers at leading companies in tertiary outdoor recreation industries.’
Additional presenters will be announced by early February. Registration is now open. Attendee numbers will be limited… ‘to ensure the most productive, in-person networking and learning possible.’
