US Club Soccer – a prominent member of the U.S. Soccer Federation and the leading organization developing soccer clubs across America – today announces the National Premier Leagues (NPL) will host the 2018 Girls NPL Finals, July 12-16 at Aurora Sports Park in Aurora, Colo.
This marks the third time US Club Soccer will host championships in Colorado, after a successful debut in 2013 for the 2013 NPL Finals and National Cup XII Finals, and then again three years later for the 2016 NPL Finals and National Cup XV Finals.
BRACKET: 2018 Girls NPL Finals
For 16 qualifying NPLs throughout the country, the 2018 Girls NPL Finals represents the coveted destination of year-long, league-based competition. Participating teams will play group stage games before advancing to semifinals and finals for the rights to call themselves NPL champions.
“We’ve hosted our championship events in several locations over the years, but Aurora, Colorado – in particular – is one of the most popular destinations among our members,” said Leo Garcia, NPL General Manager and US Club Soccer Vice President of Competitions. “As girls NPL teams begin their fall seasons, we wish them success on and off the field.”
The 2018 ENPL National Championships for 14-U through 17-U boys teams – to be held July 13-14 – will be played alongside the 2018 Girls NPL Finals at Aurora Sports Park.
Additional graphics showing the NPL playoff structure for 13-U, 14-U and 19-U boys will be released soon.
