ATRA Finalizes Annual Trail Running Conference

The third annual Trail Running Conference  for 2015 is ready to go. Dates are October 7-10, 2015, returning to the popular historic Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO. Registration is open for both Trail Race Directors, and Trail Runners.
Days 1 & 2, Wednesday October 7 & Thursday October 8 - for Trail Race Directors: Expanding on the  initial event for Trail Race Directors last year, this year's sessions will cover one and a half days (half day Wednesday, full day Thursday), with a more in-depth look at those subjects that were rated as most important this year.  In addition, there will be a networking  evening on Thursday October 7 after the day’s sessions, a chance for all the Race Directors to network in a relaxed environment, with appetizers and drinks sponsored by presenting sponsor Leslie Jordan. There will also be an expo with vendors showcasing products and services specifically for Trail Races.
As this year, RD's will also have the option to extend their stay for the balance of the conference for 1 or 2 more days at a discounted rate.
Registration is open now, with early bird pricing until April 1. There are reduced rate for races or organizations that will register more than one delegate for the Race Director segment of the Conference - contact Event Director, Terry Chiplin for details of this offer.

Days 3 & 4, Friday October 9 & Saturday October 10 - Trail Runners : Following the success of the format in 2014, there will be two days comprising a mixture of speaker panels, interactive workshops, and an expanded range of fun runs with star trail and mountain athletes and demo opportunities. 
There will also be an addition of a separate track for beginner or newbie trail runners. Registration is open for Trail Runners, with early bird pricing applicable until April 1.

Trail Running Film Festival: ATRA is exploring options for the 2015 Trail Running Film Festival, planned for Friday October 9, at a local theater in downtown Estes Park.
