Fan Fest - The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

Fan Fest, presented by Michelob Ultra and Toyo Tires, is one of Colorado Springs’ largest and most popular street festivals. Held on the Friday before Race Day, from 5:00-9:00pm, more than 35,000 people gather in the heart of Downtown Colorado Springs to experience this 10-block street party. Fan Fest will take place rain or shine, there are no alternate event dates due to inclement weather.

4th of July Symphony on Your Porch

Get ready for the largest 4th of July event with fireworks erupting across the Pikes Peak region! In partnership with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, 4th of July Symphony on Your Porch is a celebration where residents can enjoy fireworks displays at more than 10 locations across the city of Colorado Springs.

This event allows residents across the county to enjoy a patriotic concert broadcast on several local radio stations while watching one of the region’s many fireworks shows from their porch. This year’s event line-up includes a free, live performance from the Colorado Springs Philharmonic at the Pikes Peak Center on July 2.

Rocky Mountain State Games

July 22-24 & 29-31*

The Rocky Mountain State Games (RMSG) is Colorado’s largest multi-sport festival for athletes of all ages and athletic abilities, including those with physical disabilities or visual impairment. The Broadmoor Cycle to the Summit

August 13

The Broadmoor Cycle to the Summit is a breathtaking bicycle race up Pikes Peak - America's Mountain. Literally. Sanctioned by USA Cycling, this competitive style hill climb consists of multiple medal categories giving cyclists of all skill levels the opportunity to cycle their way into the Summit Society!

What is the Summit Society, you ask? Summit Society is an exclusive club for summiteers united by the challenge and adventure of cycling up Pikes Peak. Riders that complete the race before its conclusion will become a member of the Summit Society and will receive a medal and exclusive prizes/discounts!

Labor Day Lift Off

September 3-5

The Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off continues a celebrated 46-year tradition of a hot air balloon event in Colorado Springs. In partnership with Hot Apple Productions, this historical event is the largest free hot air balloon festival in the United States and draws more than 185,000 attendees to Memorial Park over the holiday weekend.

Event goers will enjoy early morning balloon launches with over 65 hot air balloons, evening balloon glows, and fun for the entire family, including live music & entertainment, KidZone, new Sunday morning 5k race in partnership with Orangetheory, and much more!

Pikes Peak Regional Air Show

September 24-25

The Pikes Peak Regional Air Show is taking flight in Colorado Springs on September 24-25! In partnership with the Pikes Peak Regional Air Show and National Museum of WWII Aviation, the air show will be held at the Colorado Springs Airport, which provides for excellent viewing of aircraft in flight.

Colorado Springs Sports Hall of Fame

October 25

The Colorado Springs Sports Hall of Fame was established in 2000 and is dedicated to honoring individuals, teams, events/organizations, and contributors that have brought significant recognition and distinction to the city and region through their success, leadership, and notable achievement.

Annually, a distinguished group of individuals, team(s), and an event/organization are selected to be inducted into the Colorado Springs Sports Hall of Fame. In addition to the inductee class, two award winners are selected for the Col. F. Don Miller Sports Service Award and Thayer Tutt Sportsman Award. Event attendees commemorate their contributions to sport with a formal dinner, silent auction, and night of celebration.

2022 Inductee Class and Special Award Winners will be announced in early May!
