Colorado Springs, a city known around the world as a military community that supports America's Armed Services and its men, women and families, has created a special program to encourage participation by military members and their families in the 2017 Rocky Mountain State Games. The program is sponsored by Citizen Soldier Connection, El Pomar Military Family Assistance Fund and Ent Credit Union.
The Rocky Mountain State Games (RMSG) is the state's largest multi-sport festival for athletes of all ages and athletic abilities including those with physical disabilities or visual impairment. More than 10,000 athletes are expected to compete in the 2017 RMSG primarily over two weekends this summer, July 21-23 and 28-30, in the 40+ sports offered to competitors at venues in Colorado Springs.
The RMSG Military Support Program has been created by the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation to encourage military service members and their families of Colorado to participate in the Games. This program, through the support of our sponsors, allows military service members, their spouses and dependents to participate in the Rocky Mountain State Games at up to a 50% discount off the normal registration fees. This discount will apply to individual and team registration fees until funds are exhausted.
To participate in this special program for the military, service members and their families must submit a completed Rocky Mountain State Games Military Registration Assistance application online, or by email.
Online applications are available at RockyMountainStateGames.org
Once the Military Registration Assistance Application has been processed, the applicant and their immediate family members will receive a special discount code to use during registration for up to 50% off registration fees.
