Delaware Tourism Office Hires Ryan Wolfe as Tourism Sports Sales Leader

The Delaware Tourism Office has hired Ryan Wolfe as its full-time Tourism Sports Leader. Wolfe is tasked with increasing out-of-state visitation to Delaware through the recruitment of sporting events.

Since 2009, sporting events the tourism office has worked with have generated $82 million for Delaware’s economy.
A sports industry veteran, Wolfe brings extensive experience in marketing, relationship building and creative problem solving, having worked in college athletic marketing for some of the most storied programs in the country. This includes positions at the University of Memphis, University of Delaware and the University of Connecticut, whose men’s and women’s basketball teams have won the NCAA championship multiple times.

Wolfe holds a bachelor’s degree in sports management from Towson University and a master’s degree in sport commerce from the University of Memphis.
