Event Including Firefighters’ Competitions Signs with Ocean Center

The Florida Fire Chiefs Association has signed a five-year contract with the Ocean Center to host its Fire-Rescue EAST convention, competition and trade show through 2020.

Fire-Rescue EAST has been coming to the Ocean Center since 2009. Each year, thousands of delegates attend the convention and trade show, which includes continuing education classes for professional and volunteer firefighters, a trade show and competitions.

According to its website, the Florida Fire Chiefs Association is the state’s leading management education organization for fire and emergency services professionals. It specializes in promoting and supporting excellence in fire and emergency services.
