Florida Senior Games, presented by Humana, Are Off and Running in Florida’s Sports Coast

The 2024 Florida Senior Games, presented by Humana, are set to begin in Florida’s Sports Coast (Pasco County, FL) on Monday, Dec. 2, 2024, and will run through Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024. With over 2,500 athletes registered, this year’s event promises exciting competition across 22 sports, including pickleball, archery, swimming, and track and field. It is also a qualifying year for the 2025 National Senior Games, taking place in Des Moines, Iowa, July 24, 2025 - Aug. 4, 2025. 
 

The games will occur across several premier venues throughout Pasco County, including Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus, Temple Terrace Aquatic Center, Lake Jovita Golf Course, and others. Highlights from this year’s schedule include a Saturday Spectacular on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024, which features special ceremonies, live entertainment, sports demonstrations, and community vendors celebrating senior athletes’ dedication and achievements. The Florida Sports Foundation anticipates the games will bring a significant economic boost to the area, with projections estimating an economic impact reaching $600,000.
