For anyone in the tennis and racquet sports business, the place to be from Jan. 23 to 25 is Orlando, Fla., for the inaugural Racquet & Paddle Sports Conference.
The multi-faceted tennis, racquet and paddle sports industry event—co-located with the PGA Merchandise Show at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC)—is designed to bring racquet sports professionals and industry leaders together for a unique future-focused business-to-business event to learn what’s new and next. The conference will include the “Lake Nona Experience XX19,” an Innovation & Technology Demo Day & Welcome Party on Jan. 23 at the USTA National Campus in Lake Nona, where equipment companies can showcase their latest products and attendees can playtest gear.
At the OCCC, the Racquet & Paddle Sports Conference will include an expanded Tennis Owners & Managers (TOM) Conference, in addition to a preview pavilion of racquet, paddle and tennis vendors and businesses, plus a curated ONE2ONE buying summit.
The popular TOM Conference, presented by the Tennis Industry Association, will include education sessions by top experts and consultants within and outside of the tennis industry. Sessions will focus on four tracks: Facility Design & Innovation, Innovative Marketing & Management, Human Resources & Professional Services, and Event Management/Hospitality with special focus on racquet and paddle sports operations.
The preview pavilion at the OCCC, located on the PGA Merchandise Show floor, will allow attendees to meet with and network with leading and up-and-coming brands that are showcasing their latest and most innovative products.
On Thursday, Jan. 24, the Racquet & Paddle Sports Conference will include the TIA Tennis Forum and the fourth edition of the Tennis Industry Innovation Challenge, where the finalists in the “Shark Tank”-like competition will present their new and innovative products and services in front of a panel of experts.
