Ocean Center to Host Gymnastics this Weekend

The Ace Gymnastics Daytona Beach Bash – Gymnastics Tournament (formerly known as Blackjack on the Beach) is returning to the Ocean Center Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 24-25. The event is in its 16th year
at the Ocean Center. 

About 1,100 athletes and their families from around Florida are expected to attend the competitions, which are open to the public. This is a U.S. Association of Gymnastics sanctioned women's level 1-5 and Xcel and Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Level 1-5 competition.

Tickets will be sold by organizers at the door beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Competitions run through 8 p.m. Saturday and 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 5-12.
Children under 4 and competing athletes will be admitted free.

A popular venue for competitions, the Ocean Center arena has dozens of competitive arts and sports match-ups through the end of the year including basketball, cheering, dance and drill team championships.
