January 2-5 – Seminole County is excited to play host to the Baseball Youth All-American Games. January 4-5 – Soldiers Creek Park will kick off the new year with a brand new softball exposure camp with Fastpitch University. This event will bring 100 players from all over Florida to Seminole County to showcase their skills for college coaches and increase their chances of landing a scholarship to play at the next level. January 11-13 – Girls ECNL Florida returns to Seminole County for the 8th straight year, bringing 3,500 of the nation’s most elite girls soccer players from all over the country for a showcase event taking place at Seminole Soccer Complex, Sylvan Lake Park, and Central Winds Park. Over 300 college coaches will be in attendance as well to scout the players. This 3-day event will generate $2 million in economic impact for Seminole County. January 17-20 – For the second consecutive year Seminole County is set to welcome the NFHCA Winter Escape to the area. January 26-27 – Premier Girls Fastpitch (PGF) of Florida will bring their first Gold Cup event to Soldiers Creek Park. February 2-3 – Seminole County welcomes back Florida Half Century for their February 50s-60s senior softball tournament at the Boombah Sports Complex. 65 teams are expected to compete from all over the state of Florida, bringing over 350 hotel room nights to the area. February 16-17 – Over Presidents Day weekend, we will host the Nations Baseball Presidents Day Challenge. February 22-24 – Seminole State College brings back their annual Seminole State Invitational college softball tournament to Soldiers Creek Park. 10 top junior college softball programs will compete for the title. March 2-3 – USSSA Fastpitch will hold their distinguished Elite Select softball tournament at Soldiers Creek Park and the Seminole Softball Complex, bringing 80 of the top fastpitch clubs in the state to Seminole County. March 9-15 – Escaping the cold, 20 Canadian Club baseball teams will travel to Seminole County in March for Spring Training games. This week long event will feature some of the top Canadian college club teams preparing for their upcoming season. In total this event will bring 425 athletes/coaches and over 900 room nights. March 10-29 – Hogan Lacrosse, based out of Maryland, will take up residence in Seminole County for 3 weeks in March. 17 elite boys high school teams will train at the Boombah Sports Complex and Moore’s Station fields, bringing over 700 hotel room nights to the county. March 18-22/25-29 – Returning to Seminole County for another exciting year will be the Florida League High School Invitational. Taking place over the course of a week, this event draws in the top high schools from all over the state to complete and prepare for the upcoming season.
