The Palm Beaches to Host USA BMX Sunshine State Nationals

The Palm Beach County Sports Commission will host the USA BMX Sunshine State Nationals from January 17-19, 2025 at Okeeheelee Park in West Palm Beach. The event came to The Palm Beaches after a rigourous bid process that saw the Palm Beach County Sports Commission land the signature event that will attract riders from the Caribbean, Europe, North, Central and South America.
 

This event is expected to garner international interest and generate significant economic impact, with previous BMX nationals hosted in The Palm Beaches drawing nearly 1,500 athletes, 3,000 spectators, and producing over 2,343 hotel room nights.
 

This three-day competition is a high-stakes series where riders vie for titles in various age groups and professional categories. Points earned at this event will contribute to both state and national rankings.
 

Okeeheelee BMX, the host site for this championship, is consistently ranked among the nation’s best tracks and currently stands as the #1 rated course in the eastern United States. Known for its world-class design and cutting-edge chip timing system, the track is an ideal setting to spotlight Olympic-caliber talent and showcase the growing global popularity of BMX racing.
