Visit Panama City Beach is pleased to announce a four-year partnership with the National Club Baseball Association (NCBA) and the National Club Softball Association (NCSA), divisions of the National Federation of Collegiate Club Sports Leagues, at the Panama City Beach Sports Complex starting in 2021. The National Federation of Collegiate Club Sports Leagues will host Swing into Spring—Panama City Beach each February or March with an estimated 70 club baseball and softball teams who will practice and play each other as they prepare for their conference season.
“The NCBA and the NCSA can’t wait for 2021 to get on the field for the Swing into Spring—Panama City Beach event and play ball at the PCB Sports Complex,” says CEO and President of CollClubSports, Sandy Sanderson. “We can’t help but feel like this state of the art complex is our new March home away from home and we look forward to bringing our collegiate club baseball and softball teams to town to enjoy all that the Panama City Beach community has to offer.”
Schools participating include, Ohio State University, Penn State University, University of Iowa, Indiana University, Purdue University, University of Wisconsin, University of Illinois, Northwestern University, University of Missouri, Iowa State University, University of Massachusetts, Boston University, University of Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech, University of Central Florida and the University of Florida.

This college club baseball and softball training event will extend for several weeks with a total of 160 games. According to the National Federation of Collegiate Club Sports Leagues, 1,000 hotel rooms will be occupied in Panama City Beach each week during the Swing into Spring event, resulting in $500K in direct spending and an economic impact of $800K.
