PGA National Resort – South Florida’s world-class golf, pickleball, vacation, culinary, family, weddings, corporate and group events, and spa destination now showcasing the stunning results of its recent $100 million transformation – announces it will host a first-of-its-kind interactive fan event featuring popular golf influencer stars from both Good Good Golf and Barstool’s Fore Play Pod.
YouTube Golf has exploded in popularity, with the PGA Tour even getting in the action with their “Creator Classic” ahead of the TOUR Championship at East Lake. The event drew over 100,000 live viewers and 2.1M total viewers since the event. PGA National Resort will play host to the next big event in the YouTube Golf space, but with a twist compared to those that have come before it.
On Nov. 3, PGA National will host the “Fore Good Scramble.” The first live event that brings together two of the pre-eminent organizations in YouTube Golf – Good Good Golf and Fore Play. The live event will feature the two groups creating teams of four scrambling on the back 9 of The Champions Course at PGA National Resort. The event can be attended live (tickets here) or viewed on Good Good’s YouTube channel. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Play Yellow and The First Tee.
On the heels of the Fore Good Scramble, on Nov. 3 – 6, PGA National Resort will then host the “Battle For Palm Beach” – a 36-hole, two-man scramble – with 50 teams competing for the title. Good Good and Foreplay will continue their presence on site and join in on the action so golfers from around the country can see how their skills stack up against the popular YouTubers.
The unique experience is $5,500 per team and includes three nights’ accommodations, an opening practice round on the resort’s fun, par-3 Staple Course, tournament play on the property’s superb Fazio Course, and a final round on the celebrated Champion Course, home of the PGA Tour’s Cognizant Classic and famous “Bear Trap.” Teams will be provided with breakfast, lunch, and drink tickets.
