If you’re looking for a deeper understanding of how to fund, build and operate cutting-edge sports venues, the Sports Venue Forum is a must-attend event. This forum is ideal for operations and development staff working in sports tourism.
William Knox, a seasoned figure in the sports tourism sector and former director of the Grand Park Sports Campus, has conceived and launched a fresh business endeavor aimed at advancing the evolution and management of sports facilities.
In collaboration with the US Sports Congress, William and the team at Legacy Sports Group are introducing the inaugural Sports Venue Forum (SVF). The SVF is designed as a cooperative gathering tailored for individuals actively involved in sports tourism venue management, as well as those seeking insights and perspectives on refurbishing existing venues or creating new ones.
This interactive forum, spanning two and a half days, will offer educational sessions and networking opportunities to foster cohesion among sports tourism venue professionals.
Attendees will attend one of two education tracks, Operations or Development:
- Operations Track: Delve into the intricacies of sports venue management and operations. Learn from seasoned professionals about optimizing fan experiences, ensuring safety and security and implementing efficient operational strategies to enhance overall venue performance.
- Development Track: Explore the future of sports venue design, construction and innovation. Engage with industry leaders, architects and developers as they discuss cutting-edge concepts and share insights into the evolving landscape of sports venue development.
There will be multiple networking opportunities including social activities, receptions, a vendor fair and gatherings between attendees from the Sports Venue Forum and US Sports Congress. Attendees will be provided with diverse platforms for building relationships, exchanging ideas and fostering collaborations. These events offer attendees the chance to connect in both formal and informal settings, enhancing the overall networking experience and potentially leading to valuable connections and partnerships.
