The Downtown Orlando Partnership (DOP) announced 2019 MLS All-Star Week as the winner of the sports event category for the 2019 Golden Brick Awards. Greater Orlando Sports Commission (GO Sports) President & CEO Jason Siegel accepted the award on behalf of the five event partners who co-hosted the week-long celebration of soccer, including GO Sports, the City of Orlando, Downtown Development Board, Osceola County, and Orlando City Soccer Club.
2019 marks the fourth year in a row that GO Sports-hosted events have taken home a Golden Brick Award. Past winners include the Celebrating Women in Sports Luncheon presented by Orlando Health (2018), WrestleMania 33 (2017), and Copa America Centanario (2016).

The Golden Brick Awards program, this year presented by Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center, annually recognizes community and development projects that positively impact downtown Orlando. In addition to the 2019 MLS All-Star Game and MLS Soccer Celebration (fan fest) hosted at Exploria Stadium, multiple community events were hosted in downtown Orlando. Ace Café acted as the Media HQ all week, and also hosted the MLS WORKS Day of Service, eMLS All-Star Challenge, and Men in Blazers Live All-Star Extravaganza. Wall Street hosted the officialMLS All-Star Concert featuring Prince Royce, and Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts hosted a VIP Welcome Reception, which included members of the MLS delegation as well as the All-Star team and their opponent, Atletico de Madrid.
