Summer Smash Open to Serve Up Elite Tennis Talent in Delray Beach

The 13th annual Summer Smash Open, hosted by the City of Delray Beach and organized by Players International Management (PIM), is set to return as one of the largest USTA Level 4 events in the United States. The prestigious tournament will take place over two weekends: August 17 – 19, 2024, featuring the Boys' 12s, 14s, 16s, and 18s divisions, and August 24 – 26, 2024, showcasing the Girls' 12s, 14s, 16s, and 18s divisions. Matches will be held at the Delray Swim & Tennis Club, Delray Beach Tennis Center, One Tennis Academy, Boca West Country Club, and Palm Beach Gardens Tennis Center.

Over 500 players will compete across all divisions. Each division will include a 64-draw event with a feed-in consolation through the round of 16, ensuring all players have ample opportunity to compete. With the influx of players, their families, and coaches, the Palm Beach County Sports Commission projects a strong economic impact for Palm Beach County.

Players’ International Management (PIM), based in Delray Beach, is the event organizer for the Summer Smash Open and a variety of USTA-sanctioned events in The Palm Beaches on an annual basis. Beyond youth tennis, PIM produces the Delray Beach Open, a long-running staple of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Tour.

This world-class event will showcase elite talent across several venues in The Palm Beaches, including the Delray Swim & Tennis Club, Delray Beach Tennis Center, One Tennis Academy, Boca West Country Club, and Palm Beach Gardens Tennis Center.
