Tampa Hosting USYS National League

The game schedules are now available for USYS National League Tampa 2023, which will feature boys and girls competition in National League P.R.O. (14U age group) and Elite 64 (13U-14U age groups).

All games for National League Tampa will take place at the Tournament Sportsplex of Tampa Bay; the girls competed from Feb. 3-6 and the boys will be competing Feb. 10-13.

“The talented young players in these age groups put on great performances back in November, and we’re excited for more teams to get an opportunity to showcase their talent next month at National League Tampa,” USYS National League Commissioner Simon Collins said. “With a variety of talented Elite 64 sides, combined with National League P.R.O. teams playing to secure spots to Nationals, the event in Tampa will provide another great environment for youth soccer.” 

National League Tampa features teams from the National League’s top team-centric model (National League P.R.O.) and top club-centric model (Elite 64). Both models of competition will see teams from dozens of states come together to compete in Florida.

The action in Tampa will represent the second national event of the season for the 13U and 14U age groups, as the youngest National League sides competed during an exciting two weekends in November at National League Round Rock. The games in Tampa will see the National League P.R.O. sides finalize many of their group standings and determine a majority of the berths to the 2023 USYS National Championships.
