The Palm Beach County Sports Commission, in partnership with the Caribbean Baseball Organization, will host the return of the World Comes to The Palm Beaches international baseball showcase. From October 23-27, 2024, The Palm Beaches will once again host this global event at CACTI Park of The Palm Beaches.

Now in its eighth year, the tournament will welcome over 1,200 athletes, coaches, and spectators from approximately 35 nations, including the United States, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, India and many more. This year’s event will feature four competitive age divisions: 12U, 15U, 18U, and an open division, allowing for players of all ages to compete.

In addition to the games, World Comes to The Palm Beaches offers an array of activities including a Major League Baseball showcase for prospective players, athlete seminars, and skills clinics. Each participating team will play a minimum of five games, providing ample opportunity for competition and player development.

The event is expected to generate nearly $1 million in direct economic impact for Palm Beach County, driven by the influx of athletes, fans, and team personnel. Local hotels, restaurants, and businesses are set to benefit from this surge in activity, highlighting the significant role sports tourism plays in the region.

“The World Comes to The Palm Beaches not only brings world-class baseball to our community but also highlights The Palm Beaches as a prime destination for international sports events,” said George Linley, Executive Director of the Palm Beach County Sports Commission. “We’re proud to showcase our region while welcoming teams from across the globe.”
