The event will include competition events, from beginners to the top pilots on the country. Pilots on the USA Unlimited Aerobatic Team will be present competing and preparing for the World Aerobatic Competition to be held in October of this year.
Spectators may watch the competition from the lawn airport at no cost, although event organizers encourage all spectators to bring lawn chairs. The majority of competition flights will take place in the afternoons and evenings.
Spectator parking is available at the airport for free.
"We are pleased and excited to host the Bear Creek Bash and the many pilots that will be in our community," said Lisa Smith, executive director of the Greater Rome Convention & Visitors Bureau. "We encourage the public to come out, support these pilots and see their passion for flight performance."
