Ed Headrick Disc Golf Hall of Fame Classic Coming to Appling this Weekend

This year's Ed Headrick Disc Golf Hall of Fame Classic presented by Rec Tec Grills will be held on October 12-14, 2018, with ancillary events to accompany the competition. It will take place at the International Disc Golf Center in Appling, GA.

On behalf of the Professional Disc Golf Association, we would like to thank the Disc Golf Hall of Fame (DGHOF) members for all of their past, current, and future efforts put forth to encourage the growth and sustainability of our wonderful sport. Conceptualized in 2003 by Brian Graham, this event was created to assist in highlighting the achievements of our DGHOF inductees.

This traditionally biannual event is now featured at the International Disc Golf Center in Appling, Georgia annually as the National Tour Finale event, as well as the new location for our annual Disc Golf Hall of Fame induction ceremony. To accompany the adoption of the induction ceremony, the event aspired to also highlight the Headrick Memorial Museum housed inside the IDGC.

This goal, with collaboration from our friends at DGA, formed the newly branded Ed Headrick Disc Golf Hall of Fame Classic in 2017.
