The Innovation Institute for Fan Experience (IIFX) will hold its inaugural Best Practices Summit for the Sports & Entertainment Fan Journey February 27 - March 1, 2023, at the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
The first-of-its-kind gathering will bring together sports and entertainment professionals from around the world to document a collection of industry-vetted “Best Practices” for use in the design and planning sports and entertainment venues and touchpoints on the fan journey.
“There are potentially hundreds of touchpoints for venues and event managers to engage with fans during their journey to a sports and entertainment event – ticket purchases, parking, security, seating, guest services, social media and more. Each touchpoint can make or break the fan experience,” says Lou Marciani, director and co-founder of IIFX.
“Best Practices help define and improve every aspect of any business. This summit will examine today’s high-intensity, immersive world of sports and entertainment venue management.”
The takeaways for attendees will be ways to help their ensure that their specific fan experiences are on the cutting edge – engaging fans, patrons, teams and sponsors better than ever before.

This is an anonymous survey designed by the Innovation Institute for Fan Experience (IIFX) to identify challenges and issues that may affect the experience fans have throughout their journey to attend sports & entertainment events.
IIFX is seeking input from sports & entertainment industry professionals, including executives, thought leaders, technology solution providers and integrators, consultants, venue and event operators, guest services, food & beverage, IT, safety, security, sponsorship and marketing, facilities, and vendors, to better understand the challenges and issues affecting the fan experience at throughout the fan journey.
