Meet Chicago Northwest (MCNW) announces their newly elected board of directors taking office this month. In their recent annual meeting, the sales and marketing team at Meet Chicago Northwest showcased multiple achievements from the 2023-2024 year including their award winning “Chicago Northwest is your Home For Golf” campaign as well as multiple workforce initiatives and the rolling out of their new strategic plan. Business and civic leaders from the eight communities that MCNW represents – Arlington Heights, Elk Grove Village, Itasca, Rolling Meadows, Roselle, Schaumburg, Streamwood and Wood Dale – gathered to celebrate and pay tribute to the organization.
MCNW also announced the election of its Board of Directors for 2024-2025. The tourism bureau greatly appreciates the time and knowledge the civic leaders bring to the tourism industry in Chicago's Northwest suburbs. Members of the MCNW board oversee its sales and marketing efforts as well as its financial direction. The newly elected board took over leadership of Meet Chicago Northwest on July 1, 2024.
“At this year’s Partnership Celebration, we were especially excited to celebrate the region’s growth in visitors and events over the past year,” says MCNW president Heather Larson, CMP, CDME. “With over 3 million overnight visitors, the northwest suburbs enjoyed the highest percentage increase in average daily room rate in all of Chicagoland and we welcome our new and returning board members to help drive even more awareness and visitors to our region.”
