Dasher Dash 5K Race to be Held Before Stroll

The Dasher Dash 5K race, sponsored by I Want Smart,returns to the streets of Rockford and is a holiday themed run/walk in downtown Rockford. The race has a new course this year and will start and finish near Davis Park and make its way down State Street to enjoy all the holiday themed decorations. It runs on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021 at noon, near the intersection of Wyman and Elm streets

Participants will receive a finisher medal and shirt. Awards will be given to top overall male and female as well as placings for select age groups. Registration closes November 25, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. There will be no race day registration. The reace precedes the Stroll on State.

A post-race party will be held in Davis Park once competitors complete the course.
