The 2014 Secret U.S. Classic is scheduled for Aug. 2 at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, IL, and 2013 World all-around champion Simone Biles of Spring, Texas/World Champions Centre, and 2012 Olympic gold medalist Kyla Ross are expected to compete in the senior session. Fans who cannot attend in person can enjoy coverage on television, online and on their favorite social media networks, as well as find event information at secretclassic.com.
Here's how to follow the action this weekend.
Television coverage:
Universal Sports. Universal Sports television will broadcast the 2014 Secret U.S. Classic live from 7:30-9:30 p.m. ET on Aug. 2. The competition will be simultaneously webcast on UniversalSports.com and SecretClassic.com/live. The broadcast will be available for on-demand streaming following the event
Web video coverage:
Live podium training coverage. There will be a live stream of both junior (9 a.m. ET) and senior (11 a.m. ET) podium training from the Secret U.S. Classic on Friday, Aug. 1. The stream will be available on SecretClassic.com/live.
Live competition coverage. Competition kicks off on Friday, Aug. 1, at 3:30 p.m. ET with the HOPES competition from the U.S. Challenge. On Saturday, Aug. 1, there will be a live stream of the junior competition, beginning at 2 p.m. ET. The streams will be available on the Secret Classic live coverage page.
USA Gymnastics on YouTube. USA Gymnastics will post coverage of the Secret Classic, including every competition routine, after the conclusion of the event, as well as interviews from media day and post-competition, and clips from podium training.
