Soccer fans will want to mark their calendars for Clásico de Leyendas, a friendly match between former Guadalajara (Chivas) and Club América players. “Clásico” is the name given to friendly matches between the two rival sides.
Mexican soccer league legends including Ramón Ramírez, Benjamín Galindo, Joel Sánchez Ramos, Chava Carmona, and more have been invited to play by Auroran Lucio Lopez, a former soccer pro and current coach of the Black Wolves FC, a local youth soccer organization.
“We decided we wanted to make this historic event happen here in Aurora so our community and soccer fans could meet their idols. We would like to thank the City of Aurora for all of their help and support in welcoming our group and brining this great event to our city,” said Lucio Lopez.
“You will be able to see great players who made history in the two most important teams in Mexico, thank you to the city of Aurora for their help we’re thrilled to bring this match to the Aurora community,” added Joel Sánchez Ramos
