Tough Mudder Coming to Rockford This Weekend

Thousands of participants will attempt to conquer obstacles spanning 10 miles and 25 fun and challenging obstacles during Tough Mudder happening at the Chicago Rockford International Airport grounds. The event is expected to generate approximately $1,305,758 million in economic impact to the Rockford region. New events this year include a Mini Mudder for kids age 5-12 and Ruff Mudder for tough pups.

Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25:

Tough MudderClassic– signature 10-mile mud and obstacle course designed to pull participants out of their comfort zones - with no winners or clocks to race against. Click herefor video.

Tough Mudder 5K  – teamwork, obstacles and fun-filled muddy awesomeness packed into a fearless 5K distance (without ice or electricity). Click herefor video.

Tough Mudder Half– 5-mile mud and obstacle course challenge featuring signature obstacles – but excluding the more extreme elements. Click herefor video.

Tougher Mudder(SATURDAY ONLY) –10-mile course with a competitive, timed twist. Click herefor video.

Mini Mudder– one-mile obstacle course designed for children ages 5-12.

Ruff Mudder (SATURDAY ONLY)- the newest addition to Tough Mudder Chicago, with four obstacles for the toughest of pups. Click herefor video.

- Tougher Mudder begins at 7:45am (Saturday ONLY)

- Tough Mudder Classic begins at 8:45am
- Tough Mudder 5K begins at 10am

- Mini Mudder begins at 10am and continues every hour until 2pm

- Ruff Mudder begins at 10am (Saturday ONLY)

Sunday, August 25

- Tough Mudder Classic begins at 9am

- Tough Mudder 5K begins at 10am

- Mini Mudder begins at 10am and continues every hour until 1pm
