Sports Indiana, the sports commission in that state, has announced that it will expand its membership to include all sports-affiliated organizations.
The news, which was carried in Inside Indiana Business, noted that membership will now be available to representatives of National Governing Bodies and Rights Holders, venue operators such as Parks & Recreation Departments, high schools, colleges, universities, and privately-run sports facilities, government entities, sports associations, and businesses serving the needs of the sports tourism industry. Membership had previously been restricted to Sports Commissions and Convention and Visitor Bureaus in Indiana.
