Heartland Soccer is set to welcome over 170 teams from across the Midwest for the Fall Kick Off Challenge, taking place August 16-18, 2024. The event will be held at the Scheels Overland Park Soccer Complex and the Garmin Olathe Soccer Complex.
The tournament features teams from ECNL, NPL, and State and Regional Champions from six states, making it a key event for the fall season.
With players, supporters and spectators arriving from the Kansas City metro area and beyond, the tournament is expected to provide a significant boost to the local economy, benefiting businesses and the community throughout the weekend.
"The Fall Kick Off Challenge is a cornerstone of our regional tournaments,” said Shane Hackett, Executive Director of Heartland Soccer Association. “We're excited to host teams from across the Midwest again this year."
The tournament will feature live streaming and playback of matches at the Garmin Olathe Soccer Complex via VidSport, a cutting-edge technology provider. VidSport's state-of-the-art cameras and AI technology will allow fans to enjoy matches from their own devices.
Media coverage is encouraged throughout the weekend's events, starting Friday at 5:30 PM and continuing Saturday and Sunday mornings.
