The app allows users to find out about the area's many attractions and recreational opportunities. The App allows users to map their location, get turn-by-turn directions, and customize their trip to Elizabethtown in a feature called "My Trip". The App also allows users a way to easily access restaurant telephone numbers and search for hotels, upcoming activities and attractions in the area.
The App is categorized into sections entitled "Where to Eat", "Where to Stay", "What to Do", "Festivals and Events", "What's Nearby", "Social Media", "Elizabethtown Sports Park", and "My Trip". The App keeps users in the know with Elizabethtown Tourism's Facebook and Twitter updates, so they are sure to get the latest information and reminders of upcoming happenings.
The App will be helpful to athletes and families attending events at the Elizabethtown Sports Park. ETCB's Sports and Sales Director Janna Clark said "Sports participants and their families are extremely tech-savvy. This new app will make it easy for them to get around, stay informed and update their social media feeds."
