Industry Safety Day to be Offered in Louisville on Saturday, February 1, Before the 2025 Industry Conference

Following the success of the inaugural Industry Safety Day, Running USA is pleased to announce that a second Industry Safety Day will be held in partnership with Los Angeles-based Joffe Emergency Services preceding the 2025 Industry Conference.

The Safety Day curriculum will include focused training on crisis management strategy and planning including risk assessment, effective communication and response and recovery. The second session will be a workshop led by certified instructors, focusing on hands-on practice with the latest techniques in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, automated external defibrillator (AED) use, and choking emergencies, tailored to both adult and pediatric situations. Participants will have the opportunity to receive their two-year Healthy & Safety Institute (HSI) certification.
