Registration is now open for both The Polarbear Triathlon/Duathlon and the Sebago Lake Triathlon Festival Weekend, to be held in two separate months.
The Polarbear Triathlon/Duathlon will be held at Bowdoin College in Brunswick on Saturday, May 2, with an 8:30 a.m. start time. The triathlon will feature a 525 yard swim, 11.5 mile bike ride along a loop course with rolling/flat terrain and a 3-mile run on an off-and-on road course. The duathlon’s first 2-mile run will be a shortened version of the second run, with only half a lap of the trail. The bike, second run, and transition will be the same as the triathlon.
The Sebago Lake Triathlon Festival Weekend will be held at Point Sebago in Casco on Saturday and Sunday, June 13-14. Events include an Olympic swim and sprint swim, a 14-mile lollipop bike course with varied terrain, and a 3 mile run through the resort.
