Crow Athletics hosts impactful events each season and recently shared the outcome of their fundraising resulting from two fall events: MDI Marathon, Half and Relay was featured in a recent issue of the Mount Desert Islander where $17K was donated through grants (and an additional $10K was allocated through the year). Millinocket Marathon and Half, held annually the first Saturday of December, raised over $7K benefitting the host community. Both events create memorable experiences for runners and spectators.

The Maine Track Club Mid Winter 10 Mile Classic Race, presented by Fleet Feet Maine Running, takes place February 5. The race, in its 39th year of running, has 1000 registered participants - with room for more! .

A favorite goal race among local runners and drawing from New England states, the MWC brings a competitive field as well as those who enjoy outdoor winter activities. More than 100 volunteers are on hand to assist at water stops, along the course, and at the finish line.

The race beneficiary continues to be local high school running teams, with more than $10,000 donated each year to promote youth running

in Maine.

Race directors and the Maine Track Club work closely with the towns of Cape Elizabeth and Scarborough to ensure safe runners, spectators, volunteers and drivers. More information may be found here: MWC
