Arborg, MB, to Host Skate Canada Manitoba Event

The 2016 Skate Canada Manitoba Open Free Skate Competition will be held February 13 - 14, 2016 at the Arborg & District Arena, Arborg, MB.
 
The Arborg Skating Club is pleased to host the 2016 Skate Canada Manitoba Open Free Skate Competition February 13-14 at the Arborg & District Arena.  This two day event will host over 100 figure skaters from across the province, as well as from Saskatchewan and Ontario, who will participate in a variety of skating events.

This competition provides an opportunity for skaters to try out new programs and skills for the upcoming season and for others to perfect current skills.  This diverse range of figure skating will provide spectators a great fan experience throughout the weekend.

“The entire volunteer team has been working tirelessly to ensure that everyone experiences the best that the Arborg Community has to offer”, said Sherri Orbanski, the Host Committee Co-Chairperson. Sherri’s Co-Chair, Tracy Weik, also commented, “A big thank you goes out to the many sponsors for their ongoing support”.

Tickets are $5 per day, $3 for students and seniors.
