Teams representing provincial associations from across the country are converging on Winnipeg to fight for the Jack Cup in 5 different divisions.

Divisions include Men’s A, Women’s A, Men’s Masters (34+), Women’s Masters (34+), and Legends (44+). All the action will be taking place at the main rink at Scotiabank Hockey for All Centre, Notre Dame Recreation Centre Arena, and Keith Bodley Arena. Round robin games will take place from August 5 to 8th and playoffs and medal games on the 9th and 10th.

.All 5 divisions look to have possible Manitoba champions with strong teams in each division. In Men’s A we have the current rendition of the Grasshoppers trying to bring back old glory with star players Remi Laurencelle and Conner Roulette. In Women’s A we have U of M Bisons Julia Bird and Dana Goertzen trying to get the women their first ever championship. In the Masters and Legends divisions we have teams peppered with former pro and university hoc2key players trying to win! The tournament will kick off with an opening ceremony between the Manitoba opening games for the Women’s and Men’s A divisions.

The ceremony will feature the presentation of the Logan Schatz award for the Junior Ball Hockey Player of the Year, a traditional Indigenous drum song by Victor Tssessaze, the Canadian Anthem by youth singer Leah Hoeppner who sang the anthem for the Winnipeg Jets at the age of 14. As well it will feature a salute to the U15 Boys Team Manitoba Gold medalist and U17 Girls Team Manitoba Silver Medalist teams from the 2024 Junior Nationals. Tournament and Day Passes can be purchased at the door, while children and youth are free. Beverages and Food will be available at all facilities
