Manitoba to Host Western Canada Baseball Championships

The Carillon Minor Baseball Association together with the La Broquerie Minor Baseball Association has been chosen by the Western Canada Baseball Association to host the Western Canada Baseball Championships for the 18U, 15U and 13U “AA” Divisions.  

This is a first for the Community of La Broquerie, located just 10 minutes East of Steinbach, and a first for the La Broquerie Minor Baseball Association.  Our own 15U La Broquerie A’s won the 15U AA Championships last year in Kamloops BC, and were awarded the Baseball Manitoba Grassroots Team of the Year honor.  

We will have the top teams from each division here from B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba (18U- Portage, 15U- Souris, 13U- Portage), together with our three host Carillon teams representing and showcasing their skills while trying to obtain the Western Canada Baseball Championship Banner. 

We have some incredible up and coming baseball stars amongst this group of boys, and any exposure  that our event can gain, would be incredible for the kids.
