Super-Spike presented by Corona, returns to Winnipeg this July 19th & 20th for one of its most anticipated events to date. Taking place at Maple Grove Rugby Park, Super-Spike combines Western Canada’s largest outdoor volleyball tournament with a weekend long concert series, all set in a festival atmosphere.

This year the event is ecstatic to welcome Down With Webster as its event headliner. To celebrate the 15th anniversary of their breakthrough album “Time To Win vol. 1” the band are reuniting for a limited number of shows in the summer of 2024, with Super-Spike hosting one of those highly anticipated stops. Numerous local Manitoba acts including Neighbour Andy, the JD Edwards Band, Men in Kilts, The Dust Rhinos, Daniel Desorcy, UpCycle, Always Dale and multiple DJ’s will also be performing on the main stage throughout the weekend.

Public interested in registering a team for this year’s event can do so by visiting superspike.ca. Last year’s tournament sold out with 330 teams participating, however, this year the event has expanded the capacity to 350 teams. Early bird team registration is now open at only $54 per person through to June 9th. All Super-Spike tournament participants receive free access for the concert series and on-site festivities.

Super-Spike is thrilled to have Down With Webster headline, their first live show in Manitoba in over 10 years. From their first performance at a junior high talent show, Down With Webster created their own style of genre-bending sounds, and have blown away audiences ever since. Their songs have charted at Top40 Radio, sold millions of singles, and amassed hundreds of millions of streams; while providing electrifying performances at the MMVA’s, Junos, and festivals across the country. The band’s tireless pursuit of creating the greatest party on stage has won them a rabid fan base coast to coast.

Super-Spike, which will be celebrating its remarkable 21st anniversary this July, acts as a significant fundraiser with over $1.3 million raised to date for local not-for-profit groups.  Funds raised from this year’s event will continue to support Volleyball Manitoba and their grass roots programs.
