The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) and Corrigan Sports are excited to announce an Official IWLCA event for uncommitted athletes, The Recruit Experience. This will be held November 5 and 6, with the option to compete on one or both days.
This is a tournament solely for uncommitted student athletes graduating in 2017 and 2018. Unlike the official IWLCA team tournaments (New England Cup, Champions Cup, Midwest Cup, Western Cup, Capital Cup, and Presidents Cup) the Recruit Experience will be an event where athletes will register as individual players not as a team. Athletes also have the ability to register for either one or both days of the showcase.
It will be held in Western Regional Park, Woodbine, MD
One day – $250; Both days – $350 (includes Recruit Experience, pinnie, along with a recruiting seminar for players and parents on the evening of November 5th)
Recruit Experience Refund Policy –
Before October 1, 2016, a full refund may be issued in the case of injury OR college commitment. A doctor’s note will be required for a full refund in the case of injury. Proof of commitment will be required for a full refund to be issued the case of committing to college.
After October 1, 2016, a full refund may be issued in the case of injury with a doctor’s note. A PARTIAL refund may be offered in the case of commitment.
Athletes will register as individuals and be assigned to teams by graduation year. Every field will be filmed throughout the Experience and each athlete will have an electronic profile that will be provided to college coaches prior to the event.
This tournament is being supported by DI, II, III, and NAIA IWLCA member coaches and will be the best chance to showcase all skills.
