Tough Mudder, the global fitness and active lifestyle brand, is returning to Boston with its 2019 Tough Mudder Boston on June 29-30. New this year, the Boston event will feature a Ruff Mudder competition for dogs and a new 5K distance designed for participants of all abilities.

Tough Mudder Boston will take place at 508 International in Charlton, roughly an hour outside of Boston, Hartford and Providence. 508 International, known as “New England’s Playground”, is an action sports entertainment venue and a vibrant hub for a multitude of sports and events. For the first time at Tough Mudder Boston a new 5K event will cram 13 unique obstacles into a shorter distance than the original Tough Mudder Classic, offering all of the fun without the necessity to train. The untimed, teamwork-focused event is ideal for first-timers who want to do something new with their weekend and try out the fun, collaborative experience that Tough Mudder offers.
The Tough Mudder 5K joins the Tough Mudder Classic, an 8-10-mile loop of mud-soaked mayhem with 25 best-in-class obstacles, the Mini Mudder, a mile-long obstacle course specifically designed for adventure-seeking children, and the new Ruff Mudder, an event for the toughest of pups. Coupled with a revamped Mudder Village Festival featuring local food, cold beer, live entertainment, lawn games, giveaways and more, the events provide a day of fun for the whole family.
