TCF National Bank (TCF Bank), a subsidiary of TCF Financial Corporation (TCF) (NYSE: TCF), today announced it will be the co-titled sponsor of the Detroit Free Press/TCF Bank Marathon. In its 42nd year, Michigan’s largest road race and the only race to cross international borders twice expects more than 25,000 runners and an additional 50,000 spectators to attend this year’s full weekend of events October 19-20.

The Detroit Free Press/TCF Bank Marathon offers a race for everyone with a full marathon, international half marathon, U.S.-only half marathon, marathon team relay, 5K, 1-Mile and a Kids Fun Run, as well as a challenge series that combines multiple races during the two days. Runners will cross the Ambassador Bridge to Canada and return to the U.S. through the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel.
